At Integrative Family Medicine of Bend, we are a full spectrum pediatric primary care clinic. Dr. Cooper has been working as a naturopathic pediatrican in Central Oregon since 2012 and provides an integrative approach to your child's care. This means you can bring your baby and child in for routine wellness checks, sick visits and chronic disease management. She can run labs, order imaging, prescribe medication, make referrals to specialists and collaborates with our community providers.
WELL BABY/CHILD VISITS
This is a time where we get to know you and your child. We spend our visits answering questions and providing resources to parents. We ensure your child is meeting their developmental milestones. We discuss the foundations of health including nutrition, sleep, exercise and stress. Children are encouraged to participate in their healthcare and Dr. Cooper aims to instill a sense of ownership and "buy-in" that taking care of your body is really important!
VACCINES
Integrative Family Medicine of Bend is proud to offer vaccines on a schedule that fits your beliefs. In fact, many parents seek out Dr. Cooper to discuss their vaccine concerns and we know that there are more to vaccines than a schedule. In fact, the CDC schedule was developed to get as many vaccines as possible during well child visits. Dr. Cooper believes there is a better way, an alternative way, that gives the body an opportunity to develop immunity but in a more spaced out manner. Dr. Cooper is dedicated to listening to parent's concerns, answering questions and providing vaccine education if asked. She also respects your decision as a parent and will never pressure you into vacccines if you have decided to opt out.
